Call-Up Central: Kyle Blanks

According to Baseball America (click here for the post), the San Diego Padres have recalled 1B/OF Kyle Blanks.
Blanks was hitting .283 with 12 HR and 38 RBI at Triple-A prior to his recall. He had been a 1B, but he was transitioning to the outfield due to being blocked by Adrian Gonzalez at 1B.
