Even before Anthony Morrow scored a career-high 37 points in his first NBA start Saturday afternoon, a more important story had emerged. He already had supplanted second-year shooting guard Marco Belinelli in Don Nelson's rotation. Nelson had been playing Belinelli ahead of Morrow to s...
Back and forth, back and forth this game went. The Golden State Warriors hung in there and kept the Chicago Bulls close the entire game. It never got far enough away from the Warriors, but in the end they just didn't have enough stops to pull out a win. Corey Maggette

There’s no denying that the Warriors suffered a disappointing loss Friday night against the Bulls, but you don’t have to look far to find silver linings. First, we likely won’t have to face such a painful cascade of turnovers again once Jamal Crawford joins the team next week. Second, Ant...

Gotta credit Nellie for the effort here tonight. He played 10 different players in trying to concoct a win. Belinelli stepped up big time. I think he is hearing footsteps. Randolph is the real deal and wanted to establish that he is "The Rookie" on this club. (10 pts 9 reb, 2 blks) Morrow lost his Su...

Crawfor'ds pretty expensive and has a couple years on his contract. NY wants to unload that contract and perhaps renegotiate Harrington's....it'll allow the Knicks, who's part owner is Jay-Z and is also good friend with Lebron James, to possibly clear enough cap space to sign James after he i...

While Warriors fans anxiously await Anthony Morrow’s next display of superhuman skills (check here to read the ever growing legend of Money Morrow), there are finally some juicy rumors swirling around Al Harrington. According to ESPN, Jamal Crawford could be on his way to the Warriors...

Apparently the Warriors of the future can. The Blazers aren't the only team discovering themselves in the Western Conference. There's potential a'brewin' in the Roaracle. Before we continue, let's all take a second to bow our heads in memory of Biedrins' incredible Double Double streak. A...

Stephen Jackson scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and the Golden State Warriors overcame Greg Oden's 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 111-106 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

How much blame does Nelson deserve for Mullin’s treatment? Not much, but he’s certainly not making himself a martyr for the Chris Mullin cause. Nelson, rather than Mullin, got the extension to start the season because Nelson’s style of play continues to put bodies in the Arena’s seats. E...

With the start of the fourth quarter, the Warriors were already down 74 to 90. Don't believe for a second that the Kings were playing awesome defense against us, we just didn't make most of our shots. Shooting 41% to the Kings 48% clearly shows what kind of game it was if you didn't get to see it. Ou...

Part Six of our WAC football preview is here. Today, I am examining the June Jones-less Warriors of Hawaii. The Warriors lose a lot of big offensive tools from last season with the departures of Colt Brennan, Ryan Grice-Mullen, Davone Bess, and company. The Warriors also lost June Jones...wh...

The Spurs D vs the Warriors No-O in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter summed up in one pic. Makes you really appreciate Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett. So Fitz and Barnett get my award tonight. Thanks for bringing it every night fellas! Photo: AP Photo/Eric Gay + D. Clarke Evans/NBAE via Getty Images

Anyone who visits this site regularly knows that I have repeatedly insisted (most recently in this post) that teams should not be afraid to run against the Golden State Warriors and that the Dallas Mavericks could have avoided their upset loss to the Warriors in last year's playoffs if the Mavericks had pushed the ball up the court instead of trying to slow the game down. These truths were once against confirmed in Dallas' 121-99 win over Golden State on Wednesday night. Dirk Nowitzki scored a game-high 29 points on 9-16 shooting, adding eight rebounds, six assists and three blocked shots. Nowitzki had a game-high plus/minus rating of +25. Five other Mavericks also scored in double figures, including Josh Howard, who had 19 points and a gam...

The graphics in NBA 2k8 are a lot like Stephen Jackson - they can be right on the money but also reeeal nasty. About 90% of the character models have been created accurately and beautifully. Major players - Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, Dwight Howard, Shaq, Nate Robinson, Chris Paul, Andri...

The Warriors have lost Baron Davis, Matt Barnes, and Mikael Pietrus to the free agency realm this past summer. Oh, and you might have heard: Monta Ellis is probably out until January 2009. To assess this season’s slow start for the youngest team in the NBA, Dave Nemetz, Nuck Chorris, Yama Haz...

The Clippers might be the worst team in basketball, so as with the Wolves win, we shouldn’t get too excited. Still, the Warriors changed things up a bit Saturday in ways that are encouraging. Gone was CJ Watson from the line-up, back was the ball movement that we had seen earlier in the seaso...
