Celtics make pressure point
FL's Take: Defense will once again be the key to the Celtics winning this series. If they play the great team defense that got them here, they will win.
James Posey has guard up
FL's Take: Posey is a key. His defense off the bench on players like Varejao and LeBron will be huge. Let's not forget that the Cavs very much wanted Posey before he signed with the Celtics and made him an offer. I am very glad he came to Boston.
Will Hawks coach return after leading Atlanta to playoffs?
Too close to call
Cold spell doesn’t faze Ray Allen
FL's Take: Ray Allen will come up big in this series. Against the Hawks, he was spending a lot of energy chasing Joe Johnson on the defensive end and I believe that affected his offense. He won't have near as much trouble on either end of the court with Wally and I expect to see his numbers go up.
Bettors still dig Celtics
Billups’ 28, disputed shot lifts Pistons over Magic
FL's Take: Teams should be fined and penalized for these errors that make a difference in games. These are the playoffs. They can't have clocks that stop or shot clocks that don't work. It is unacceptable. If clocks stop or don't work. They do it over or don't go on until they are fixes.

Factors matter in this equation
Celtics' view quickly in focus
This wasn't a trash day
FL's Take: The Celtics need to keep their emotions under control during this next series. They can't get involved in trash talk with this team. They can't lose their cool. Pierce can't spit at LeBron if he gets frustrated or throw his headband. They have to stick to basketball and let their games do the talking.

Celtics likely less Cavalier against Cleveland
FL's Take: The Celtics better not take the Cavs lightly because they are for real and will make them pay. Most previews have the Celtics winning in 6 games. They can't think that they can lose a game and then turn it on. They have to play like every game is game 7.
ESPN Do you still love the Celtics?
FL's Take: I have loved the Celtics since the 60's. I loved the Celtics through the Pitino years. I loved the Celtics through the Chris Wallace years. I loved the Celtics through last year's 18 game losing streak. Why wouldn't I love them now?

Enterprise Paul Pierce faces tall task in defending LeBron James
FL's Take: Pierce can't guard James by himself. The Celtics need to play good team defense on him. They can't get so wrapped up in guarding LeBron as the Cavs have others who can score as well.

FL's Take: I love Delonte. He was one of my favorite players when he was in Boston and I hated to see him go. I would love to see him come back to fill an Eddie House roll off the bench. But, right now he is the enemy and a fierce competitor that the Celtics need to watch out for.

FL's Take: The parallels between this team and the 1986 championship team have been uncanny. Lex Nihil Novi did a great job of running the articles from the '86 team all season (Lex, where are you?). Let's hope that those parallels go all the way to the championship.
