Herald Celtics home in on goal
Celtics must re-find road to success
FL's Take: The Celtics can't depend on just being home to win this as the Pistons have proved that they can win in the Garden if the Celtics give them an opening. They must come out and take control from the tip.

Feels like the good old days for P.J. Brown
FL's Take: PJ was a great signing for the Celtics. He is coming up big in the playoffs. Not so much for Sam Cassell.

After Game 4 loss, Pierce has message for teammates
FL's Take: Pierce's message was inspirational. I remember Bird's message for his teammates in '84 when he called them all sissies. They came back and almost killed the Lakers, literally. Hopefully the Celtics will respond to Pierce's challenge with energy and focus in game 5. But don't forget, McDyess is giving the same kind of speeches to Detroit.

Tee shirt jinx off
FL's Take: I think it is funny that these are surfacing for both teams already. I agree with Jeff. Let's hope the Pistons ones go to clothes 3rd world children. I am ready for my Celtics tee shirt now. I already got the Division Champions shirt, and now I need the Conference champions shirt.

Shamrock Headband The Coaching question
FL's Take: There are a lot of articles today about Doc's coaching. He has been making some decisions lately that make you scratch your head. One is not playing Leon. Powe was so good in the regular season and in the first series and now Doc has stopped playing him. I think Powe would bring some energy into the game. Big Baby has been underwhelming and Powe couldn't be worse. Also, sticking with Sam when he is clearly a liability out there. Give House a chance. He played well in the Cavs series and deserves another chance in this one. Stick with the guys that got you here.
