Knicks’ quest for LeBron James will drive decisions made by Donnie Walsh
FL's Take: With several teams planning their roster moves around trying to get LeBron in 2010, there are a couple of teams going to be very disappointed.

Posey to opt out today
FL's Take: For many reasons, the Celtics need to re-sign Posey. He brings so much to the table that you can't just replace. Posey said he wants to come back to Boston. I hope he is willing to take what they can afford to offer. It would be just plain wrong to see Posey giving hugs to Kobe next season.

FL's Take: I like this kid. I hope he can get healthy and come back from those surgeries like Leon did. He would be the steal in the draft if he does.

Patriot Ledger Celtics to keep eye on free-agent market beginning tonight
FL's Take: A few years back, Danny was on Karl Malone's doorstep at midnight. I wonder where he will be tonight at midnight. I have a feeling that anyone that the Celtics target will be willing to take what is offered to play on this team. Not near as hard a sell as it was back then.
KU Sports Giddens feels ‘blessed’
FL's Take: It seems as though Giddens is a good kid and that his knuckleheadedness is truly in his past. If so, Danny may have gotten a real gem in this draft.
Daily News Tribune Celtics: Rivers was the right man for this job
FL's Take: Just as KC Jones was the right coach for the '86 team, Doc was the right coach for this team.

McCartney or Lennon?
FL's Take: I always thought Ringo was the best Beatle. I loved Ringo. The music doesn't go if the beat isn't there. He was the forgotten Beatle for the most part. Maybe that explains why Perk is my favorite player. The team doesn't go without the defense and Perk anchored the defense (see game 5 for proof).

Eno: "I remember when Chuck replaced Bill Laimbeer in the 1990 Finals with William Bedford for a few minutes in Game Three. I thought, ‘Wow, what a message.’" Big Al: "His death hit me hard." On the Red Wings-Ducks: Eno: "Brian Rafalski hasn’t played a minute in this series, and Kris Draper hasn’t played a minute in the playoffs, yet here they are, on the verge of going back to the conference finals."
